Our expanded athletic facility will provide a central hub for all-school gatherings—and a place where Aardvarks big and small can learn, play, and grow.
It’s always been a strength at OES, and in recent years, our Student-Athlete Leadership class has been a key part of that commitment. The new facility will support extracurricular leadership development for even more students in years to come.
Past upgrades to our turf field and track allowed those programs to soar. Now it’s time to provide the same advantage to basketball and volleyball. The goal? To become one of the top scholastic athletic programs in the country.
OES has earned nearly 40 state titles in just the last decade. Our student-athletes deserve a place they can be proud of—one that reflects their commitment and the excellence of our program.
The OES student body has more than doubled since the original gym was built in 1964. We take our no-cut policy seriously—and as a result, we need more space!
It’s hard to believe that next year we will again sit together in the renovated and expanded Athletic Center watching the Beginning Years Movement Program or the final minutes of a state championship game—but we will. Today, 11 beams, each 104 feet long and 7 tons, are in place across our future championship court, the floors have been installed, and the building will be substantially complete on June 11.
At OES, we pride ourselves on the strength of our community and personally knowing each and every student and family. What is true in the classroom extends to our fundraising efforts. We want to know you and have a one-on-one conversation. Head of School Mo Copeland and Director of Advancement Liz MacDonell, along with volunteer Campaign Cabinet members, are ready to meet with you virtually. Please reach out today at email@example.com.
